Ignitis Gamyba participates in the activities of the National Lithuanian Energy Association (NLEA). This cooperation helps the company to communicate its vision and position as well as maintain close relations with partners in the electricity market.
The National Lithuanian Energy Association (NLEA) was founded on 5 February 2016 by merging the National Lithuanian Electricity Association and Lithuanian Gas Association, two bodies that previously have been operating separately in the electricity and gas markets. The purpose of NLEA is to shape a common position of the energy sector, represent the interests of its members when dealing with state institutions, public and international organisations. NLEA also seeks to improve electricity and gas supply condintions for consumers as well as foster economic and technical advancement of the economy.
